Christine Raitt has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Independent Beauty Association (IBA), Allure Beauty Concepts announced. Raitt secured her position as part of IBA’s 2026–2027 Board slate during the organisation’s annual meeting of members, held towards the end of June. Her appointment underlines the shared commitment of IBA and Allure Beauty Concepts to identifying emerging talent that drives innovation, collaboration and growth across the beauty sector.
Dr Akemi Ooka, CEO of the Independent Beauty Association, welcomed Raitt to the Board and expressed gratitude for her willingness to serve. Ooka noted that Raitt’s perspective would strengthen the Board as it continues to champion the growth, innovation and long-term success of IBA’s member community, while also advancing the wider independent beauty and personal care industry.
As a leader at Allure Beauty Concepts, Raitt collaborates closely with personal care brands, suppliers and industry partners to bring innovative, science-driven products to market. She has spent more than a decade in beauty formulation and manufacturing, consistently advocating for industry collaboration and the exchange of expertise that shapes the sector’s dynamism.
Raitt said she felt honoured to join the IBA Board and to contribute to an organisation with such meaningful influence on the beauty industry.
