Background
BolognaFiere Cosmoprof has acquired a 70% stake in Beauty to Business, a trade event held in Bergamo that focuses on the Italian and international cosmetics manufacturing supply chain. The acquisition is a component of the group’s plan to increase its portfolio of industry events and fortify its position in the global beauty sector.
The company said the deal will help support the growth of the cosmetics supply chain by creating new opportunities for manufacturers, brands and industry professionals. It also aims to strengthen Beauty to Business’s position in the market while preserving the event’s identity and long-standing relationships within the sector.
Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, said the acquisition adds a strategic business to the group’s portfolio. He mentioned that the cosmetics manufacturing industry keeps growing due to innovation and expansion into other markets. Besides, he added that the company will be assisting the event in growing in the future while keeping the experience and contacts in the industry.
The deal will also help the international expansion of Italy’s cosmetics manufacturing industry due to increased resources and market reach.
“Indeed, this partnership represents the beginning of a new chapter for Beauty to Business,” says Carlo Conte, Project Manager at Promoberg. “The event will now have better financial stability and a clear strategy for the future while serving the cosmetics supply chain.”
After the deal, the management of Beauty to Business will continue running the event and developing its strategy. The new structure of the ownership will help the event play an even bigger role as the major meeting point for cosmetics manufacturing supply chain companies.
