The Beauty Tech Group plc said Dr Marnie Millard OBE takes up a Board seat as Non-Executive Director, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee from July 1, 2026.
She takes over from Simon Cooper, who steps down from the Board on August 31, 2026, after nearly a decade with the company.
Millard brings wide leadership experience across executive and non-executive roles, with a solid record of growing consumer and ecommerce brands.
She currently serves as Senior Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Applied Nutrition plc and holds the role of Chair at University Academy 92 Limited.
Until recently, she chaired the boards of Kitwave plc, Marks Electricals plc and MyPura.Com Limited, and served as Non-Executive Director for Finsbury Food Group plc and Belvoir Fruit Farms Ltd.
During her executive career, Millard spent eight years as Chief Executive Officer of Nichols plc, the diversified soft drinks group. Under her leadership, the company’s market capitalization grew by 60%, while retail sales value doubled.
Before joining Nichols plc, she held senior roles including Sales and Marketing Director at Macaw Limited, Commercial Director at Gerber Juice Company Limited, and Managing Director of Refresco Beverages UK Limited.
In 2018, she received an OBE for Services to Business in the Northwest and International Trade in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. She also received an honorary doctorate in business administration, conferred by Salford University.
Millard previously served as a director of Luscious Food & Drink Company Limited between May 2006 and July 2007. The company entered administration in December 2007 and underwent creditors’ voluntary liquidation in 2009.
