The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Madeleine Boyd as Senior Vice President, Global Brand Communications, as part of its strategy to strengthen consumer engagement and modernise communications across its portfolio of prestige beauty brands.
Based in New York, Boyd will lead a newly formed Global Brand Communications team responsible for the company’s communications strategy across all brands. Her role includes improving consumer-focused storytelling, expanding creator partnerships, strengthening earned media, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across global markets.
Boyd joins Estée Lauder from Together Group, where she oversaw the group’s Beauty & Wellness sector spanning 15 specialized agencies and consultancies as Global Senior Vice President, Beauty & Wellness. Before that, she spent nearly seven years at luxury communications agency Karla Otto, advising leading beauty and luxury brands on communications strategy, consumer engagement, and cultural relevance.
Previously, Boyd has been working in marketing, digital content creation, and editing roles across companies like Mecca and Vogue Australia. Her skills in retailing, publishing, and international communications will be very useful for Estée Lauder in creating stronger brand relationships with customers.
Meridith Webster, Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer at The Estée Lauder Companies, said Boyd brings strong communications expertise and a deep understanding of today’s beauty industry. Webster added that Boyd will help build a global communications team focused on stronger storytelling, closer collaboration across brands, and improving long-term consumer engagement.
